Presentation Options
"Getting a Head Start on College" is an outreach presentation for high school students enrolled in CTE courses. Student will learn about the opportunities to earn college credit in high school, be introduced to the CTE programs available at Imperial Valley College and the university level, and understand the differences between a certificate, associate and bachelor degrees.
"Pathway to Your Career" is a subject area specific presentation for high school CTE students enrolled in articulated courses. The presentations are delivered by college faculty and designed specifically for the career pathway corresponding to the articulated course. Students will learn about the degree and certificate options available in their pathway at Imperial Valley College and at the university level, how they can participate in credit by exam, and use the college credit to further their college degree and career.
